1. It’s mostly for use outdoors, except when you want to air fry something

You may have heard of air fryers and wondered if they’re worth it. You don’t need to worry about that with this grill

It’s got an air fryer built right in, so you’ll be able to use it wherever you want.

But what is an air fryer? It’s a kitchen appliance that uses hot air to cook food, instead of oil or water like your regular oven would do.

It’s ideal for things like wings, chicken tenders, and fries—foods that are normally fried but don’t have much fat content on their own.

By using hot air instead of oil or butter inside your oven, these foods come out crispy without being overly greasy or heavy on calories!

Because we know how hard it can be to find ways to eat healthy without sacrificing taste-not many people like eating steamed cauliflower every night–this feature alone makes the Ninja Woodfire Grill well worth its price tag!

2. It’s got about 140 sq inches of total cooking space

The Ninja Woodfire Grill has roughly 140 sq inches of total cooking space, which is plenty for a small to medium family or a few friends.

The top grill is roughly 14 in long and 10.5 in wide.

If you love to entertain and have guests over, then this grill will be able to handle all of your cooking needs with ease!

3. It weighs about 30 pounds

This grill weighs in at about 30 pounds with all of its accessories.

That’s a bit more than other electric grills, which weigh just around 20 pounds, but it’s still relatively light considering everything that comes with this product.

If you’re worried about having to lug around a large grill, don’t be.

The Ninja Woodfire Grill is designed so that it can be easily transported thanks to the ergonomic side handles.

You can purchase the portable table which has two wheels on the front that make moving it around your patio or deck easy and convenient.

And if you want to take advantage of its small size when storing it away for the winter months, there’s even an option for purchasing a cover!

4. It can smoke food

You can smoke food directly on the grill without the need for purchasing a separate smoker box or attaching a smoker to the grill.

With the Ninja Woodfire Grill, you can enjoy the delicious flavors and benefits of smoking right out of the box.

Smoking food on a grill involves using smoke in various ways to enhance the taste, texture, and preservation of the dishes.

First, smoke acts as a flavor enhancer, infusing foods like ribs and brisket with a rich, smoky taste.

It aids in the even cooking of these meats, preventing them from drying out too quickly and resulting in tender, juicy results.

Smoke contributes to the beautiful color and enticing texture of foods like bacon and chicken wings, adding a visually appealing element to your culinary creations.

In addition to flavor and texture, smoke can also serve as a natural preservative for food.

While we may not have personally experienced this effect, smoke has historically been used as a method of food preservation.

The compounds present in smoke have antimicrobial properties, helping to inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and fungi.

This preservation aspect can potentially extend the shelf life of smoked foods, allowing them to stay fresh for longer periods.

5. The griddle, cover, and portable table are sold separately

The griddle, cover, and portable table are sold separately.

The griddle can replace the grill and lay directly on top of the heating element.

It has a handle attached to one side for easy handling.

The cover is not included with the grill but it’s used to protect your Ninja Woodfire Grill from the environment while it’s not in use.

The portable table is not included with your Ninja Woodfire Grill either.

6. The power cord has a built-in GFCI

A GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) is a safety device that protects against electric shock.

It’s important to have one for your outdoor electronic appliances and especially near any places where water and electricity may come into contact with each other, like when it rains—anything that could cause a short circuit.

The first step in testing your GFCI outlet is to turn off the power to it at the circuit breaker box.

Then check the reset button on your GFCI receptacle—if it’s tripped, you’ll see a red dot visible above this button, which means you should press down on it firmly until it clicks back into place.

This will reset the device and allow you to plug something else into it without fear of being electrocuted!

7. It draws about 15 amps and needs to be on a 20-amp breaker

It draws about 15 amps and needs to be on a 20 amp breaker.

If you have a 15 amp circuit, it will still work, but it will take longer for the grill to heat up and the temperature will not be as consistent.

We recommend checking your kitchen’s circuit breaker rating before connecting the grill.

As far as safety goes, there are two things to keep in mind: firstly that this product has metal parts that get very hot (like any other grill), so make sure you can keep children away from them while they’re cooking.

Secondly—and this is important—to avoid injury from electric shock or fire hazards do not plug any other device into the extension cord when the extension cord connector is plugged into it!

The instructions for this product clearly state that you should use only approved extension cords with these grills.

8. It’s got a removable wood fire smoke box and a scoop for the pellets

It features a removable wood fire smoke box, allowing you to infuse your food with rich smoky flavors.

The smoke box can be easily detached from the grill, providing flexibility to use the grilling surface for other purposes or for easy cleaning.

With this removable feature, you can enjoy the convenience of switching between grilling, smoking, and other cooking methods without any hassle.

To fuel your Ninja Air Fryer Wood Fire Grill, it comes with a dedicated pellet scoop.

This scoop is designed to measure and transfer the wood pellets into the grill’s hopper. With the pellet scoop, you can ensure accurate pellet measurements, ensuring optimal fueling for consistent cooking results.

It simplifies the process of loading the grill with pellets, making it user-friendly and convenient.

Whether you want to grill, smoke, or air fry, the Ninja Air Fryer Wood Fire Grill provides a seamless experience with its removable smoke box and pellet scoop.

9. It comes with a top grill that always needs to be on

The top grill is a grilling surface, but it also needs to be used at all times for layering. It stays directly on top of the heating elements and protects and acts as a conduit for heat to rise and cook.

A good rule of thumb is to use the two upper surfaces as though you were making a sandwich: one layer of veggies, cheese, and meat in between two slices of bread.

The best part about this method is that your food will cook evenly and beautifully without burning or drying out while allowing you to keep an eye on what’s going on inside.

10. It has a crisper plate solely for air frying mode

The crisper plate comes with the Ninja Woodfire Grill, and it can be used in three modes: air frying, grilling, or smoking.

The crispier plate is removable, so you can take it off when you want to use the grill for other things.

The crisper plate has feet that fit perfectly on top of the grill—this is important because it will keep it from sliding and falling into your grill top!

The crisper plate itself is non-stick, so food won’t stick to it while cooking.

11. Grease drains from the crisper plate to the grill top and down to the grease tray

The grease tray is removable and dishwasher safe, so you can simply pop it in the top rack of your dishwasher and let the appliance handle the rest.

The ingenuity is quite brilliant.

They manufactured it in a way where you can place the crisper plate on top of the grill top. When Greece starts to slide down from the food and into the crisper plate, any excess grease will end up draining down to the grill top.

From the grill top, if the grease overflows, it will travel its way through the whole thing made inside the Ninja Grill and down to the very bottom, which houses the grease tray.

The grease tray is removable from the back of the unit.

It’s also very easy to clean with soap and water or spray cleaner if you prefer not to use a machine. You should empty this at least once per week, but we recommend doing it every time you grill.

12. The official Ninja pellets are actually shorter than normal wood pellets

The official Ninja pellets are specifically designed to be shorter than normal wood pellets. While standard wood pellets typically have a length of around 1 to 2 inches, the Ninja pellets are approximately half the length, measuring at about 0.5 to 1 inch.

This shorter size serves a purpose in enhancing the performance of certain wood pellet stoves or burners, as well as catering to specific needs and preferences of users.

These pellets are made from compressed sawdust, which is a byproduct of the wood processing industry.

Sawdust is collected, dried, and then compressed under high pressure to form the pellets.

This manufacturing process helps to ensure consistent quality and density throughout the pellets, enabling efficient combustion and heat generation.

One notable advantage of the official Ninja pellets is their origin. They are proudly made in the US, which brings several benefits.

While it is possible to use other brands of pellets in wood pellet stoves or burners, choosing the official Ninja pellets can offer distinct advantages.

Their shorter length can facilitate smoother and more consistent feeding into the combustion chamber, reducing the risk of jams or blockages.

13. The highest temperature it will go up to is 500 degrees Fahrenheit

You can set the temperature on the Ninja to a range of 210°F to 500°F.

The grill will preheat to that temperature, and once it stops heating up, it’s ready for you to cook your food.

Since it is capable of reaching up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, this grill is good for searing steaks, but if you want your steak medium rare or more than medium rare, you may need to take it off before it gets fully cooked.

It cooks really fast.

The Ninja Woodfire Grill is great at cooking burgers and chicken breasts because they don’t require much time to become fully cooked through (around 20 to 30 minutes tops).

The best thing about this grill is that you can cook multiple things at once while maintaining the temperature throughout the cooking process.

14. It takes about 4 to 7 minutes to start producing smoke

With the wood-fire button pressed, you will start to see smoke in about 4 to 7 minutes.

This is a great function that allows you to get your cooking started right after the grill starts producing smoke.

15. The smoke tray will last approximately 17 to 20 minutes

The smoke from the smoke tray will last approximately 17 to 20 minutes.

The smoke will start to die down closer to the 17-minute mark, but you can extend its life by using it at a lower temperature or by not heating it up all the way.

For example, if you like having your grill on high heat, you can turn it down before adding meat and other ingredients.

Conclusion
